04

Information we do not intentionally request

PaisaX does not require an App account for its core local functions and does not intentionally request:

  • contact lists, call logs or SMS message content;
  • precise GPS location;
  • photos or videos;
  • microphone or camera recordings;
  • phone numbers for account creation;
  • bank-login credentials, PINs, CVVs or OTPs;
  • full payment-card or bank-account credentials; or
  • fingerprint, face or other biometric templates.

If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any information or attachments you choose to send. Use caution when sending financial records through email.

05

Local storage and on-device processing

Core finance records and calculator operations are designed to be processed locally where possible. The App may store records in its private database and preferences, including:

  • transactions, accounts and balances;
  • budgets, bills, subscriptions and reminders;
  • existing loans, EMI payments and savings goals;
  • credit-card, asset, liability and net-worth records;
  • saved calculations, favourites and report settings;
  • premium status and App configuration; and
  • security preferences, including a one-way hash of an App-lock PIN.

The App is not designed to upload your raw budget, expense, loan, goal or calculator values to our own server. However, technical SDK events may identify the feature or calculator used, and third-party SDKs may process technical data as described below.

Local records remain until you delete them, clear App storage, restore a different backup or uninstall the App. Device compromise, shared-device access, rooting, malware or an unlocked phone may expose locally stored information.

06

Backup, export, restore and device transfer

Manual backup and restore

PaisaX may allow you to export finance records to a JSON backup selected through Android’s document picker and later restore a selected backup. Reports may also be exported as PDF or CSV.

Once an exported file leaves the App’s private storage, its security depends on the destination you choose. Cloud drives, messaging apps, file managers, computers or other people with access to the file may be able to read it.

Android backup and device transfer

Android or the device manufacturer may back up or transfer some App preferences according to your system, Google account and device-transfer settings. The App’s finance database is configured to be excluded from normal cloud backup, while device-to-device transfer may include local records and preferences. Actual behaviour can vary by Android version and device manufacturer.

Protect backup files, verify them before deleting original records and remove old copies from shared or cloud storage when they are no longer needed.
07

Automatically processed technical and usage data

Depending on App version, enabled SDKs, consent choices, device settings and region, the following data may be processed automatically:

Data category Examples Purpose Typical recipient/storage
App activity App opens, screens, navigation, calculator completion and feature interactions Analytics, performance and product improvement Firebase Analytics and local preferences
Diagnostics Crash logs, stack traces, App state, model, OS and App version Stability, debugging and security Firebase Crashlytics
Device identifiers Advertising ID, App-set ID, installation or push-subscription identifiers Advertising, notifications, analytics and fraud prevention Google, Meta, OneSignal or platform services
Network information IP address, connection type and approximate region Service delivery, ads, security and regional configuration Third-party SDK providers
Ad interactions Ad request, impression, click, video view, conversion and fraud signals Advertising, measurement and fraud prevention Google Mobile Ads, Meta and demand partners
Purchase information Product ID, purchase token, state, acknowledgement and entitlement Process and restore premium access Google Play and local premium state
Notification information Push subscription, delivery, opening and device/App information Deliver and measure notifications OneSignal and Android notification services

We use this information to operate the App, measure general engagement, fix errors, deliver advertisements and notifications, validate premium access, prevent fraud and improve features.

08

Firebase services

Firebase Analytics

Firebase Analytics may record App opens, screen views, bottom-navigation actions, calculator completion, saved calculations, finance-record creation or editing, premium-screen access and subscription-flow events.

Analytics events are designed to use feature names, categories, calculator IDs or internal record identifiers rather than the raw financial amounts you enter. Do not place sensitive information into free-text fields.

Firebase Crashlytics

Crashlytics may process crash reports, stack traces, device and operating-system details, App version, App state and diagnostic identifiers to help identify and correct technical failures. Non-fatal errors may also be reported.

Firebase Remote Config

Remote Config may process installation and technical identifiers needed to fetch configuration values. It is not intended to store your finance records or calculator inputs.

09

Notifications and reminders

OneSignal push notifications

PaisaX may use OneSignal for push notifications. The OneSignal SDK may process a push-subscription identifier, App and device information, session data, notification-delivery status, notification interactions, IP address, approximate region and technical identifiers.

The SDK may initialize to support notification services even when Android notification permission has not yet been granted. Android notification permission controls whether notifications can be displayed, but third-party SDK processing may be governed separately by provider settings and applicable law.

Local finance reminders

The App may schedule local reminders for bills, EMIs, loans, subscriptions, goals or other dated records. Due dates, amounts and reminder text are processed locally to create the notification. Android may reschedule reminders after reboot, App update, time change or time-zone change.

Notification text may be visible on your lock screen depending on device settings. Delivery is not guaranteed and may be affected by battery optimisation, permission, background-execution or manufacturer restrictions.

10

Advertising and consent

The free version may display banner, native, interstitial and App-open advertisements. Advertising services may include:

  • Google Mobile Ads / AdMob;
  • Meta Audience Network through mediation; and
  • other advertising demand partners made available through the configured mediation platform.

Advertising SDKs may collect or share IP address, device and App information, advertising identifiers, App interactions, ad impressions, clicks, video views, conversions, consent status, approximate region, diagnostic information and fraud-prevention signals.

Ads may be personalised, contextual or limited depending on consent, location, age-related settings, platform rules, advertising availability and device choices. Where required, the App may display a consent form using Google’s User Messaging Platform before requesting ads.

Purchasing an eligible premium subscription may remove in-App advertisements while the premium entitlement is active. Third-party links or ads do not mean that PaisaX endorses or verifies the advertiser, financial product, lender, claim or outcome.
11

Premium subscription and Google Play Billing

PaisaX may offer optional premium subscriptions through Google Play. Google Play handles payment credentials, billing-account information, purchase authorisation, renewals, cancellations and refunds.

PaisaX may receive limited purchase information such as:

  • product or subscription identifier;
  • purchase token;
  • purchase and acknowledgement state;
  • renewal or entitlement status; and
  • technical error or response information.

We do not receive your full payment-card number, CVV or Google account password. Purchase state may be stored locally to activate premium benefits and may be verified through Google Play services.

12

In-App Review, star selection and clipboard

PaisaX may show an App-owned rating prompt before requesting the official Google Play review flow.

  • Your selected star value may be stored locally in App preferences.
  • An optional comment typed into the App prompt is not designed to be sent to our server.
  • If you continue with a non-empty comment, the App may copy that text to the Android clipboard so you can paste it into Google Play.
  • Clipboard contents can be accessible to you and may be visible to the operating system or other apps according to Android rules.
  • The official rating or review you submit is processed by Google Play and may become publicly visible according to your Play profile and Google’s policies.

You can clear copied text by replacing the clipboard content. Reviews can be managed or deleted through your Google Play or Google account.

13

Permissions and device access

The current feature set may use the following permissions or system capabilities:

Permission or capability Why it is used
INTERNET Ads, consent, analytics, crash reporting, Remote Config, push notifications, billing and review services.
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE Check connection availability for network-supported services.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS Display finance reminders and push notifications on supported Android versions.
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED Reschedule enabled local reminders after the device restarts.
Biometric/device credential API Optional App lock. Android performs authentication; PaisaX does not receive biometric templates.
Android document picker Let you select a destination or file for PDF, CSV or JSON export, backup and restore without broad photo/media access.

PaisaX is not intended to request contacts, precise location, phone numbers, SMS, call logs, photos, videos, microphone or camera permissions for its current calculator and money-management features.

14

How information may be shared or disclosed

We do not sell your personal information.

Information may nevertheless be processed or disclosed in these circumstances:

  • to Google services for advertising, consent, analytics, diagnostics, Remote Config, Play Billing, reviews and Android platform functions;
  • to Meta or other advertising partners for ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention;
  • to OneSignal for push-notification services;
  • to service providers acting for App operation, subject to their terms and safeguards;
  • when you deliberately export, share or email a report, backup or other file;
  • when required by law, court order, government request or valid legal process;
  • to investigate fraud, abuse, policy violations or security incidents; or
  • as part of a merger, acquisition, restructuring or transfer of the App, subject to applicable law and notice.

Advertising-related “sharing” may include device, identifier, interaction and network data used by advertising partners. Your Google Play Data safety disclosure should remain consistent with the production SDK configuration.

15

Third-party services and privacy policies

The following providers may process information under their own terms, privacy policies, retention periods and security practices:

Meta Audience Network

Advertising, ad personalisation where permitted, measurement and security.

View Meta Privacy Policy

Android system services

Notifications, biometrics, device credentials, document picker, backup and transfer.

These links are provided for transparency. Provider documentation can change, and their processing is outside our direct control.

16

Data retention and deletion

Local records

Local records generally remain until you delete individual entries, use the App’s local-data deletion option, clear App storage, restore another backup or uninstall the App.

You can remove local information by:

  • editing or deleting supported transactions and records;
  • clearing saved calculations or history where available;
  • using More / Settings → Delete All Local Data;
  • removing exported PDF, CSV or JSON files from their destination;
  • opening Android Settings → Apps → PaisaX → Storage → Clear storage; or
  • uninstalling the App.

Deleting App data does not automatically delete copies you exported, emailed, uploaded to cloud storage or transferred elsewhere.

Third-party data

Google, Meta, OneSignal and other providers retain data according to their own policies, service configuration and legal obligations. Google Play purchases and reviews are managed through your Google account.

Support communications

Privacy or support emails may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, maintain records, prevent abuse and comply with legal obligations.

17

Security

PaisaX uses reasonable measures intended to reduce privacy and security risks:

  • private Android App storage for core local data;
  • optional App lock using a hashed PIN;
  • optional Android biometric or device-credential authentication;
  • optional screenshot blocking where enabled;
  • limited permission requests;
  • user-controlled document selection for backups and exports; and
  • encrypted network transport where supported and documented by third-party providers.

The local finance database is not represented as independently end-to-end encrypted. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security. Protect your phone, screen lock, Google account, App PIN and exported files.

Do not use PaisaX as the only record of payment obligations. Keep official lender, bank, tax and investment records separately.
18

Your choices and privacy controls

  • Notifications: disable them in PaisaX or Android system settings.
  • Local reminders: disable reminder settings or delete the relevant record.
  • Ads: use any consent controls presented by the App and advertising controls available through Android or your Google account.
  • Advertising ID: reset or delete it through supported Android privacy settings.
  • Biometrics: App-lock biometrics are optional and can be disabled in App settings.
  • Local data: edit, delete, clear or export supported records.
  • Premium: manage subscriptions, cancellation and payment methods through Google Play.
  • Reviews: manage ratings and public review text through Google Play.
  • Support email: avoid sending sensitive credentials or unnecessary personal information.
19

Your privacy rights

Depending on your country or region, applicable law may provide rights relating to personal data, including access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, consent withdrawal, objection and complaint to a data-protection authority.

Much of the finance information in PaisaX is stored only on your device and is not available to us. For local data, use the App’s controls or Android storage settings. For information we directly control, such as a support email, contact us using the details below. We may need sufficient information to locate and verify the request.

Requests concerning Google, Meta, OneSignal or another provider may need to be made directly through that provider’s privacy controls.

20

Children’s privacy

PaisaX is a general-audience finance utility and is not specifically directed to children under 13 or any higher minimum age required by local law. The App does not knowingly request personal information from children.

A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided personal information through direct support communication may contact us for appropriate action. Financial decisions should be made with a responsible adult or qualified professional.

21

International data processing

Third-party providers may process technical, advertising, analytics, notification or purchase-related information in countries other than your own. Their processing locations and transfer safeguards are governed by their service architecture, contractual commitments and applicable law.

By using network-supported features, information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions with different privacy laws, subject to legally required safeguards.

22

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy when App features, permissions, SDKs, legal requirements, publisher details or data practices change. The “Effective” date at the top will be revised.

Material changes may also be communicated through the App, store listing or another appropriate notice when required. Continued use after an update applies the revised Policy to subsequent use, subject to applicable law.
